I have been waiting for this day for long time already
Finally, I’ve got to see you again!
There are a lot of plans in my mind like visiting Disneyland, Stanley and uncountable shopping and dining moments so three weeks of time still seems so little to spend with you. Whatever, I must cherish the time we will have and give you an unforgettable Christmas in Hong Kong!
Thank you, darling. I understand that leaving home for such a long period is not easy. Sometimes, we got some resistance because of a lot of environmental factors, but we never retreat or give up. I really appreciate all of things you have done, do you?
We both like farmers, to plant our seeds in soil then wait for the day we harvest. Although the period of waiting might be full of bitter and sorrow, I think it is how great and joyful when we harvest. It is definitely worthy to wait no matter how long it takes.

It talks about a Japanese guy fall in love with a Taiwan girl. However, he has to come back home after Japan lost the World War 2. Then he wrote 7 letters to this girl when he was on the way back to Japan.
One of the sentences is like that:
